Just back from a trip to Philadelphia to record with some legends during the tattoo convention, Nick is back to bring you an off-week episode of call-ins and they are great. We've got some good, quick stories that lead to some great topic discussions for this Hotline episode, so check it out and don't hesitate to give us a call and join in the talks. We'd love to have ya'!
If you've been listening for a while, you've probably heard an episode with this week's guest, Dave Boisineau. He's got a few. Well, he came down from Maryland to hang with Nick for a while and get caught up on what's been going on with him. It's a great episode that gets into some more history of Richmond tattooing and some other places that have come up in stories on the show. Steve-O shows up after a while and it's just a great hang with some great friends. Don't skip this one.
It's time once again to hear your calls, for those who took the time to hit up Nick on the ol' Hotline. It's a great one even though there's only a few. You're gonna wanna hear what all Nick has to say. Annette returns to the show after not having been on in a while. There's also a surprise live caller this time. Just a really fun way to fill in these off-weeks and share in the documentation of tattoo history and storytelling. Good times.
It's been a little while since the last time they were on the show, but Old Heavy Hands returns to talk about their new album coming out this month called Small Fires. Nick travelled down to Roanoke where they were performing a show at Martin's bar and grill and talked to the boys at Flying Panther Skate Shop where they hung out for a while and played a few songs. Friend of the show, Schuyler, is there for the hang as well. It's a great way to kick off 2024 with some music and musical conversation.
